Summary
eMedNY EVV is a system that uses various point-of-care verification technologies, such as phone, mobile, and web-based verification inputs. The system electronically confirms the occurrence of home-or community-based service visits, recording the time that service delivery starts and stops to ensure correct claims payment and protecting that beneficiaries who are eligible to receive services get the expected care. eMedNY EVV is an internet facing Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Programming Interface (API) that allows EVV submitters, such as EVV vendors, providers, and managed care organizations, to send EVV data to eMedNY.
eMedNY EVV requires all provider agencies and fiscal intermediaries to submit an annual EVV attestation to the EVV program through the eMedNY portal.
They offer training videos on their portal and a downloadable manual available, their services are only focused on EVV.
