Why Tanya’s House Exists

My mother, Tanya, lost her life to Alzheimer’s disease.

Watching someone you love slowly lose their memory, their independence, and their identity changes the way you see the world. Both my mother and grandmother suffered from Alzheimer’s, and their experience made the need for better care deeply Tanya’s House was created to honor my mother — and every mother and father whose lives are being changed by Alzheimer’s.

Tanya’s House is our effort to ensure families facing Alzheimer’s have a safer, more compassionate place to turn.
